Major, Major Life Paradigm Shift

I had an interview today with a staffing agency that specializes in technical jobs. The guy rocked my world when he explained the job he called me in for:
It’s for 6 months (with a possible hire)
It’s in Las Vegas (He never mentioned this over the phone)
It’s making over twice as much as I’ve ever made before.
Huh?
I told him that flat out. Are you sure? Me?
He told me that, according to my resume, I was more than qualified.
“Test me.”
I don’t want to go all the way to Vegas, just to choke.
He set me up on my tests and said I was qualified.
The job is for a Microsoft Access Developer/Programmer. As soon as I left the interview, I signed up for a refresher course. Then I bought 2 new suits. I laid down a lot of scratch today, but it feels like the right thing to do.
I think I have a plan. Even if I don’t get this particular job.
